Description

This is a charming sashiko design that makes wonderful use of a temari ball motif.

This project is ideal for beginners and intermediates, and the finished product will be a welcome addition to your dining room or bed room.

Each runner panel measures 50cm x 112cm, however you may stitch two or more panels together to create a longer runner.

The temari ball design is pre-printed on Japanese indigo fabric, and will wash out after stitching. Do not pre-wash before stitching.

To complete this project, you will need:

Sashiko Thread

About temari— Temari is the traditional Japanese folk-craft of creating a children’s ball out of old scraps of kimono fabric. However, unlike boro and sashiko, this was a crafting activity practiced by Japanese noblewomen.
