Sign up to participate in the Indigo Niche Block of the Month quilt: the Traditions sashiko boro quilt.
Traditions is a fabulous quilt by Sue Howie that earned a lot of praise at the 2017 New Zealand Quilt Symposium, and now you have a rare opportunity to make one of your own.
The Traditions quilt fuses a number of sashiko and boro design elements, and consists of 26 sashiko, boro, and plain fabric blocks.
If you love Japanese quilts, are looking for a challenging sashiko embroidery project, and are intermediate or above skill level, then this is perfect for you.
- Base fabric: Japanese indigo cotton
- Finished quilt size: 67″ x 56″
- Designs for the sashiko quilt blocks will be supplied in pattern form, to be traced onto the fabric.
The Traditions Block of the Month quilt is a 12 month project, on offer to both domestic and international customers.
Please use the contact form below if you would like to take part, or have questions about pricing and materials.
