A three day event dedicated to hand and machine embroidery.
Join Indigo Niche at the Australasian Embroidery Convention. Each day I’ll be hosting a Boro Make & Take session and a Sashiko Embroidery Template Demonstration at the Indigo Niche stand B24.
Experience three days of stitching bliss with modern and traditional workshops with an embroidery focus. See below for Indigo Niche classes
The event will include a diverse marketplace of retailers selling embroidery supplies (including our very own sashiko range), competitions to enter and embroidery displays. I’ll be part of the three day class program, which will include hands-on projects to stitch, hosted by top Australian tutors. A variety of class passes can be purchased via the event website.
The Australasian Embroidery Convention is an annual event held in the Plaza Terrace Room – located on the Plaza level, upstairs from the main exhibition halls, in the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre at South Bank, Brisbane.
Learn how to use Sashiko Embroidery Templates to create beautiful and accurate sashiko patterns, ready for stitching.
This is a free demonstration. Simply visit the main stage area at 12PM each day.
