About the Alison Glass Perle Cotton Collection

Fabric designer Alison Glass has designed a series of 48 embroidery thread colours exclusively for Wonderfil’s Eleganza Perle Cotton range. These are beautiful, unique colours which have been released in four packs of twelve threads each, providing you with a vibrant colour palette for sashiko stitching.

Eleganza Perle-8 Cotton is a gorgeous 8wt, 2-ply 100% long staple Egyptian cotton thread that is double-gassed and mercerised, resulting in a wonderfully smooth and lustrous surface that allows the thread to glide beautifully through all types of fabrics. The thread’s tight twist creates firm stitches while its surface sheen produces a lustrous finish to hand embroidery such as sashiko stitching.
