The needles are manufactured in Hiroshima, Japan; Artisans in the Hiroshima region have been producing superior sewing needles for more than 300 years.

These needles have moderate flexibility, are hard to bend and are unbreakable. The needle tip is polished many times to a very sharp point ensuring a beautiful slide through the fabric.

Needles are a moderate length—not too short and not too long—and the shaft is very comfortable to work with.

What types of needles are best for Sashiko?
