SASHIKO QUILT OF 12. –
This quilt is a revised version of an earlier quilt Indigo Niche designed quite a few years ago.
It is made up of two Pre-printed Panels – Sashiko Panel 1 Revised – Sashiko Panel 2 Revised – These two panels were revised when I decided that I preferred the designs of each block to appear more intricate. The designs have been revised so that there is much more of the design in each panel and the stitch length made smaller to reflect a more intricate design.
Twelve blocks have been put together in a very simple configuration with sashings and corner stones. The smaller 24 kamons have been interspersed into the border design.
This particular quilt has been stitched in a variegated green/lime Sashiko Thread (Olympus 95) – It was put together to appeal to the younger set (babies as a cot or single bed quilt) Additional borders could be added to enlarge the quilt for a double of queen size quilt – I have used as a topper over a white coverlet on a Queen Size bed.

1 Sashiko Panel 2 – Revised
1 Sashiko Needle
2 Sashiko Variegated Thread Skein
Small border of green fabric
White fabric for Sashings – corner stones and outer border.
Panels are available in Red/Indigo and White – thread and border fabrics would need to be changed to suit.

Hi, I’ve just found out about sashiko designs.
I’ve started doing 12 x 12 inch sq blocks of the peace design. I’m very contented when I’m stitching.thank you..
Are the Sashiko panels revised 1 and 2 available for sale? I could not find them on the website.
