Our Sashiko Quilt of 12 is made up of two Pre-printed Panels  –  Sashiko Panel 1 Revised  –  Sashiko Panel 2  Revised  –  These two panels were revised when I decided that I preferred the designs of each block to appear more intricate.   The designs have been revised so that there is much more of the design in each panel and the stitch length made smaller to reflect a more intricate design.

Twelve blocks have been put together in a very simple configuration with sashings and corner stones.   The smaller 24 kamons have been interspersed into the border design.

This particular quilt has been stitched in a variegated Green Grasses Sashiko Thread  –  It was put together to appeal to the younger set (babies as a cot or single bed quilt)    Additional borders could be added to enlarge the quilt for a double of queen size quilt –   I have used as a topper over a white coverlet on a Queen Size bed.

   – White fabric for Sashings – corner stones and outer border.

   – Please note: the green border fabric you see in the photo will be white not green!
